My favorite stone is both purple and green.  It shimmers and sparkles colors that you wouldn’t suspect.  Plus, it’s even more rare than diamonds!  Did you guess it?  It’s alexandrite!

This color change stone is absolutely breathtaking and doesn’t look like it should be “real.”  Seeing it in real life for the first time was incredible.  Allow me to set the scene, I grew up in a family that did not wear a lot of jewelry or really have much interest.  So, imagine my shock when I realized that there are actually naturally occurring gemstones that change colors solely based on the lighting that they’re in.  Fast forward to the day I first saw an alexandrite.  A beautiful couple came in looking for a center stone for their dream engagement ring.  We brought in two different lab grown alexandrite options for them to choose from.  When we took them out of the protective papers, my jaw dropped and I had one word: STUNNING!  Full transparency, I think I may have been just as excited, or maybe even more so, than the person who was designing their engagement ring!  This stone reads green in some light and purple in others, however, you still see hints of both colors no matter what lighting they’re in!

So, are you looking for a stone that will be the envy of your family and friends?  Do you want people to have to do a double take to see if your stone is “real?”  Or are you looking to tell a loved one that they are even more rare than a diamond?  Alexandrite is ABSOLUTELY the stone for you.

So what are you waiting for?  Get your alexandrite on order today!
